Dorothy Acrey Walker
Dorothy Acrey Walker, 85, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
Mrs. Walker was born in Nash County, NC, May 11, 1933, to the late Joseph Marion and Lillie Bet Lynch Acrey. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Walker; son, Dale Lee Morris and many of her loving brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her daughter, Pam Walsh and special friend, Aubry Hall of Halifax; son, Tony Morris and wife, Pam of Littleton. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Rev. Steve Formo will conduct funeral services in the chapel at Askew Funeral Service in Roanoke Rapids Saturday, October 27, 2018 beginning at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral services at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.
